Do you want to learn about one of Europe`s most important monasteries on the pilgrims route to Santiago de Compostela? Do you want to visit the beautiful town of Rapperswil with its medieval city walls and stunning views over the lake of Zurich? Do you want to relax on a boattrip on the lake, enjoying the views over the golden and silver coast, while tasting a nice glass of wine? We leave Zurich in the morning by private vehicle and make our first stop in the village of Einsiedeln, where we visit the Monastery. Discover over 1000 years of history of this remarkable place, and visit the Black Virgin. Drink water from each of the tubes of the fountain, which promises you health and strength for a lifetime.
We continue by private vehicle to the other side of the Lake of Zurich, where we will make a short walk in the Medieval old part of town. Enjoy the views over the Lake, from the top of the city walls. Possibility for lunch (not incl.)
In the afternoon we travel by ship back to Zurich (tickets included). Enjoy the 2 hours journey on the lake and discover the area from another perspective.
Back in Zurich we finish with a walking tour through the old part of town. Discover the highlights of Zurich, its ancient history and medieval traces, and learn about famous people who lived in and developped this exciting city.
